About ARC

 arc aims to:
·      help contemporary visual artists across the South East to develop their professional practice and career
·      nurture excellence in practice
·      encourage critical engagement, self assessment and a proactive approach
·      enable artists to identify new opportunities for developing, presenting and selling their work

The arc programme is developed and delivered in response to artists' needs.  It includes:
·      Networking events and peer review groups
·      Regular one to one surgeries with the arc lead artist and visiting professionals
·      Online information and signposting, including a monthly regional e-newsletter, news, events and opportunities blog and social networking.
·      Regular entry-level workshops, information for recent graduates, expert practical advice and higher skills training.
·      Seminars and symposia with internationally engaged, high-quality, high-profile speakers.
·      High-level mentoring (project funding permitting).

arc works in partnership with Medway Council, De La Warr Pavilion, Fabrica, The Lightbox, Modern Art Oxford, South Hill Park, Turner Contemporary and artists groups across the region.
